Why kids yoga?

Kids feel stress and anxiety. Whether they are transitioning to a new baby sitter, a different school or just a seasonal change in activities they show their stress in different ways. Some may be clingy others may act out at home. Regardless, it is such a powerful gift to give them tools to overcome some of these feelings that they can’t quite navigate on their own.  Through yoga, they learn different breathing techniques, they exercise their body to release energy and learn to relax when slowing down at the end of class. The earlier they start the practice, the more natural it becomes for them to use these techniques in times of need.  Namaste, Erica
